R32 is also known as difluoromethane and belongs to the HFC family of refrigerants. This gas can replace other refrigerants such as R-410A and R-407C as the gas can is preferable for its lower global warming potential.
As a result of the 1987 Montreal Protocol’s ozone gas phase-out, R-410A and R-407C are mixtures of refrigerants that are used to replace ozone depleting refrigerants such as R22, since both of these gases have zero ODP (depletion potential).
Global warming potential and ozone depletion potential The discovery of the greenhouse effects of refrigerants used to replace ozone gas has prompted industry to look for better refrigerants. Global warming is a serious problem that is plaguing the world and the overall temperature of the Earth is rising.
This has prompted many manufacturers to start planning to refuse from using refrigerants like R-407C, R-410A, R-134A and replace them with lower GWP like R32. It has a boiling point of -51°C.
ColdLine produces high-quality refrigerants at factories in Russia, Europe and Asia. The entire catalog of refrigerants (refrigerants) can be viewed here.
